Teenage Anxiety

The teenage years are a time of immense change. A time when we embark on a journey of self discovery amidst a whirlwind of social dynamics, academic pressures and personal growth.

 While this transition is a natural part of life, it can also bring about heightened levels of anxiety, leaving many teenagers feeling overwhelmed and struggling to cope. This anxiety can lead to symptoms such as racing thoughts, irritability, sleep disturbances, panic attacks  and, in some cases, school refusal.  During out sessions, we will work together to give you the tools you need to make positive changes to your emotional responses and behaviours. This will reduce stress levels and allow you to challenge negative thought patterns and replace them with more positive and empowering beliefs.
