Psychotherapist and Solution Focused Hypnotherapist

Welcome to Clear Path Hypnotherapy.

My name is Lisa Murphy and I am a Psychotherapist and Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. I trained with the prestigious Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) which is widely regarded to be the gold standard in hypnotherapy training. I have a Diploma in solution-focused hypnotherapy and am an approved Anxiety UK therapist. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS check, which allows me to work with children and young people.

I feel very honoured to work in a job that I am so passionate about, seeing people transform their lives is a real privilege. I have seen firsthand the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and am free of a phobia I had lived with for years.

Let me help you to find a clear path to the best version of yourself.

What is solution-focused hypnotherapy?

Solution-focused hypnotherapy (SFH) combines talking therapy (solution-focused brief therapy) with the wonderful advantages of hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy can help you combat phobias, panic attacks, anxiety, and depression. It can assist with getting your sleep pattern back on track, help with exam stress, and fear of public speaking. It is wonderful for helping with menopause and is approved by NICE for the treatment of IBS.

Hypnotherapy is also considered a ‘secret weapon’ for many top athletes to help improve performance, either for a specific event or just to get that elusive personal best!

Based on neuroscience, solution-focused hypnotherapy is a modern and forward-looking form of talking psychotherapy. We look at where you are now and where you want to be, eliminating the need for you to revisit past trauma. The hypnotherapy element of the session incorporates a relaxing guided visualisation that enables you to access the subconscious mind. This allows your mind to be more open to positive suggestion and make the changes you want for your life. You will typically need fewer sessions than you would with other forms of talking therapy.
